The Experience of Unity

This site was one of the best articles that I have read regarding this subject.

I am a 24 yr old guy who's been attending parties for the past 6 yrs. Before I started going to parties, i was a very shallow minded person who was ignorant and confused and had a very negative attitude towards life.

The first party that I went to was in Fredericton, NB (Canada). It was a very small party (500-600 people). The music was wicked. I never really danced before I started going to parties. That night started a complete turn around in my life. At one point, I closed my eyes and just let loose. I felt this rush of energy rush from my toes right to the tip of my hair. It was the best feeling that I had ever experienced. I had found my true self and was enjoying every moment.

I then started calling to everybody asking them to release their fears and false emotions. I was in a very deep trance, for only God knows how long. Suddenly I just snapped out of my meditative state and opened my eyes. What I then saw was a very special "BOND" created among all the dancers. It was a perfect symmetry. Everybody was aligned with the person in front and on each side of him. i.e - - - -. I felt this huge rush of energy rush through me and people started cheering and whistling.

It was a moment of perfect harmony. Since that day, I understand how dancing, and music in general can have very soothing and refreshing effects on mind, body and soul. It has become a very important part of my wonderful daily journey toward personal freedom along with other activities like Yoga, Meditation, etc.

Well, thanks for the nice site guys, we need more of us peaceful warriors to awaken to the beauty of life. It's nice to see that there is a lot more people opening up to their "True Self" and sites like these do play a good part in that movement.

p.s here are a few points to reflect upon:

- if you do not respect yourself (physically and mentally) who will have respect in you.

- In order to find True Love, we need to find the peace within us and release false emotions and negativity.

- Why dwell upon the past when we cannot change what has already happened.

- There is no bad or sad experiences in life. The way we feel when we are faced with a certain event, tragedy or conflict has nothing to do with what just happened. The way we feel and react when we are faced with these types of events is strictly determined by our perception of what just happened. If we accept this event for what it truly is and take away some wisdom and life experience to learn from and apply in our daily lives thereafter we are moving forward. We are at peace with ourselves.
